I hate labels, so understandably, many people don’t like to label themselves with a problem either. So while you might think that you are not an emotional eater, there is a good chance that emotional eating creeps into your life here and there.
Emotional eating is just when your mind is searching for a disconnect from your current situation. It isn’t just for when you are sad or upset about something, but when you are overstimulated and looking to have fun as well!
Food takes you away from that overstimulation happening around you and connects your eating to your emotions instead of your stomach.
