I talk about what happens to your brain over time when you continue to practice a habit of stressing about your weight.

Stressing about your weight all the time has created a habit of activating the fearful part of your brain called the amygdala.

The amygdala has become hypersensitized around food and weight situations which causes you to shift from higher thinking parts of the brain to the automatic & reflexive parts of the brain.

This leads to rigid decision making which generally leads to destructive behaviours around food.

Hence why you wonder in hindsight why you sabotage your best efforts to lose weight.
