9 Dieting Mindset Mistakes Women Make When Losing Weight

Lovely Woman I’m so grateful that you are here and that I’m able to spread my knowledge with you and help you with your journey.

I want to talk to you about the mindset mistakes I used to make that kept me in the yo-yo dieting cycle and kept me from manifesting and maintaining the weight I desired with ease.

I’m so so passionate about this as you might already know because I spend most of my late teens and twenties on a diet.

I was constantly *trying* to lose weight, but never actually reaching my goal or staying there. And not to mention the fluctuations. I’m seriously most grateful for the fact that I can fit into the same pair of jeans day in and day out! Plus my jeans are smaller now than when I used to obsess over dieting and avoiding carbs!

Ok, so like I talk about with manifestation, it’s your thoughts, feelings and beliefs. Specifically my energy shifted. The way in which I STARTED to shift my energy were with shifting some of my dieting perspectives.

Here are my top mistakes that I used to make around dieting when losing weight:

1. Being a perfectionist: Having a mentality that I had to follow a meal plan to perfection in order to make it work.

2. Having this idea that certain foods made me fat and certain foods made me thin. That I had to avoid fattening foods. I had a list of foods to avoid. I basically used to manifest foods making me fat because I believed they would make me fat.

3.  Having a start and stop mentality. When I was starting a diet I was going full force, I had to get rid of the weight ASAP! I had to follow it perfectly! When I strayed off the dieting I was giving up and “stopping” until I had the motivation to eat “perfect” again.

4. All or nothing mindset. If I was going to lose weight I had to cut out sugar, cut out grains and avoid eating out. I put foods into lists of foods to “avoid” and foods that were “allowed”. I had to go all or nothing in order to lose weight, instead of learning balance and moderation.

5. Thinking that it was *JUST* about what I ate and nothing to do with the energy that I was in.

6. Always being afraid of whether or not I was “doing it correctly” or “doing enough”.

7. Focusing too much on weight loss, all my thoughts were about weight loss.

8. Coming from a place of fearing weight gain. Like I couldn’t bear to gain weight. Coming from a place where I couldn’t trust my body because it wanted me to gain weight.

9. Believing that weight loss would make me happy. That weight loss was the solution to my problems. When in fact a shift in perspective and mindset was the solution to my problems and weight loss came along with that (with some aligned action of course 😉).

I totally get that when you are in that place of desperation and you want to lose weight, you JUST want to take action. Especially when you are motivated and you read about how well a diet plan might work for you. You start reading all the benefits and you get excited and you feel like *this might just be it*.

I ask you please sweetheart just to pause for a moment and reflect. Have you been trying diets over and over again and expecting a different result?

Or are you ready to try something different and change your relationship to food, get no nonsense advice on weight loss science, smash through your limiting beliefs and use the power of manifestation to get to and maintain the weight you have always desired?
